A sad day indeed. I was staying with a friend in NJ at the time, and I was shaving in the bathroom listening to Imus on the radio when a report came at 8:45, that a plane has crashed into one of the towers. The thought at the time was that it was an accident and a smaller plane. But then at 9:00 the second one hit, and my friend came out yelling ‘planes have crashed into the WTC !!!’. We watched CNN for the entire day almost, got out to get Dylan’s new cd, that was released at that exact day, just to get away for a bit.

The new wordpress version is out. Upgrading was a painless affair, except for the fact that FileZilla skipped two files (wp-login.php and one other) so I couldn’t log on to the blog anymore. But that was easily fixed by uploading those 2 files seperately. The Template only broke in the bottom part, the links were suddenly also showing ratings (all 0 since that feature isn’t turned on). Changing a true to false in the get_links call fixed that. Though I thought that was very odd, dont know why that creeped up after the upgrade to 2.2. Now I am off, checking what else 2.2 has to offer ;).

Secrets of the Lord of the Rings

SQPN SLOTR SQPN has launched a new podcast named ‘The Secrets of the Lord of the Rings‘. I haven’t listened to it yet, but it looks very promising, since their previous Secrets of (Harry Potter and Pirates of the Carribbean) were very interesting as well.
