Lost 5×03 – Jughead – 1954

It’s going to sound cheesy but this was yet another amazing Lost episode. It didn’t quite have the shock effect and emotions that The Constant has, but it revealed quite a few facts about the Island and Lost.

Just some thoughts and observations:

Penny and Desmond have a son called Charlie. We see him being born at the start of the episode. Will there be something special about the boy ? All in all Penny doesn’t seem to be too happy about Desmond and him wanting to return to the island. Widmore’s vague warning to stay hidden is interesting. He knows what Ben is capable of, but doesn’t mention any specifics.

Lost Season 5 Premiere

Just some remarks about the new lost episodes, enjoyed them both quite a bit, especially the first one.

“Because You Left”
Very fast paced episode, that reveals some of the mystery of the island ! As it turned out, there is some sort of unlimited energy source within the island, that also allows to manipulate time. Apparently when tempered with somehow, the island starts jumping around in time. This lead to some quite funny, confusing scenes. The interactivity between Sawyer and Daniel was nice to see. Daniel seems to be the only one that seems to grasp the situation. He says the island is dislodged in time, like a skipping record. Which accidentally was the opening scene, a Willie Nelson record got stuck.

Charlotte is already suffering from a nosebleed. The other people that timetraveled also started out getting ill like this and eventually die. Daniel will do his best to prevent this I am sure.

WordPress 2.7

Just updated the blog to WordPress 2.7 ! One down, two more blogs to go ;). Didn’t really expect anything spectacular, as I haven’t followed the wordpress developments lately, but I was i for a nice surpise ! The new admin area looks and feels a whole lot better.

If you want a preview, check out the wordpress blog that discusses the new interface. I am sure if you use blogsearch.google, you’ll find a lot more opinions. And ofcourse the release blog post.

The new post screen is better, nice colors (light grey and blue) and all options are easier to access. Only needs a bit to get used to, for example the tags inputbox on the right.

Only thing I don’t quite like is the settings ‘tab’, for lack of a better term. I liked it better when it was in the upper right instead of all the way down left now. Ah well, always something :).
